Why athletes in Cumming need a real W Sport Pedicure (not a regular one)
If you train at Onelife Fitness, run the Big Creek Greenway, log miles on a Peloton, or spend your Saturdays on the golf course, your feet take a beating. Heel calluses, tight calves, dry skin from sweat-soaked socks, and lingering soreness after leg day all add up — and a basic pedicure isn't built to address any of it.
Our W Sport Pedicure is. It's a 50-minute recovery ritual designed around what active feet actually need: detox, deep callus smoothing, real muscle work on the calves, and cooling muscle-relaxing treatment that you'll feel the next morning when you put your training shoes back on.
What's included in our 50-minute W Sport Pedicure ($60 / $50 for Onelife members)
Here's exactly what happens in the chair:
Warm detox soak. We start with a warm soak that helps you decompress and softens the skin so the rest of the treatment works deeper.
Nail shaping, cuticle care, and callus smoothing. Clean, sport-appropriate shape — no rough edges that catch on socks. Calluses are smoothed down, not aggressively shaved. Athletes need protective callus, not raw skin.
Invigorating sugar scrub massage. Gentle exfoliation that lifts away dead skin without irritating areas that already take impact every day.
Hydrating mask with warm towel wrap. A nourishing mask is applied and wrapped with hot towels to lock moisture deep into the skin — critical for runners and anyone whose feet dry out from constant friction.
Cooling, muscle-relaxing gel massage on the feet and calves. This is the part you'll feel the most. The cooling gel works the calf muscles and arches the way a sports massage does — perfect after a leg day or a long run.
Hot stone massage. Warm stones glide along tension points to release the deep tightness that foam rollers can't quite reach.
Nourishing lotion finish. A final massage with a rich lotion seals everything in.
Optional polish. If you want polish, we'll finish with your color of choice. If you don't (a lot of our male athlete clients skip it), we leave the nails clean and natural.
Best for: Post-gym reset, leg day recovery, marathon training, golfers, teachers and nurses on their feet all day, and anyone who treats their body like an investment.
Where we are: same plaza as Onelife Fitness
Windermere Nails and Spa is at 3775 Windermere Pkwy, Suite G, Cumming, GA 30041 — directly in the Windermere shopping plaza alongside Onelife Fitness. That means you can finish your workout, walk a few doors down, and have your recovery treatment without ever moving your car. Most of our gym-member clients book a W Sport Pedicure right after a heavy workout for that reason.
We're also a quick drive from Vickery Village, Halcyon, The Collection at Forsyth, and most neighborhoods off GA-400 between exits 13 and 15.
How is the W Sport Pedicure different from a regular pedicure?
Three things set it apart:
1. The calf and muscle work. A standard pedicure includes a short foot massage. The W Sport Pedicure adds a cooling muscle-relaxing gel massage on the calves plus a hot stone massage that targets tension you've actually built up from training.
2. The detox soak and sugar scrub. Built around removing the buildup that comes from sweating in athletic socks for hours every day.
3. The 50-minute length. Enough time to actually recover, not just get a polish change.
If you usually book a Classic or Spa Pedicure with us, the W Sport Pedicure is the upgrade your training schedule justifies.
How often should an athlete get a W Sport Pedicure?
For most active people, every three to four weeks is the sweet spot. Runners in heavy mileage blocks and anyone training for an event (Peachtree Road Race, Atlanta Marathon, a powerlifting meet) often come in every two weeks during peak training. Golfers tend to book before tournaments. Teachers, nurses, and trades workers who are on their feet all day usually settle into a monthly rhythm.
